Special Features

In 2010, we supplied a total of 750 tons of Iceberg lettuce to major customers such as Vista Processed Foods (A McDonalds supply chain co.) to their various processing locations in India as well as exports to the Middle East. The current year (2011) forecast is 1200 tons and we are well on the way to achieve this. After harvesting, material is pre-cooled to improve shelf life of Iceberg lettuce and stored in cold room and then transported to respective destinations through refrigerated trucks, thus maintaining cold chain till destination and maintaining quality specifications. Approximately 200 tons are being supplied to other customers in India through dry movement by various modes of transport such as Road, Air and Railway.
